The mercantile court number 1 of Cadiz issued a judgment on December 22 in favor of the acquisition by Cepsa of Abengoa biodiesel plant in the port of San Roque (Cadiz). The race to get rid of its bioenergy portfolio and acquire liquidity to cope with its restructuring leads the Sevillian company to almost give away its biofuel plants spread across Europe and America. In this case, the sale closes at eight million euros, when the cost of the plant was almost one hundred million.
